Our location places you close to everyday conveniences like churches, restaurants, and shopping, while still keeping you immersed in Florida’s natural beauty.

We are situated directly across from the lock leading into Lake Okeechobee, with our property set along the scenic rim ditch canal. This unique location offers direct access to fishing, boating, hunting, and wildlife viewing, as well as miles of walking areas where you can take in the best of Florida’s outdoors.

The canal and lock open the door to unforgettable adventures on the water, while nearby smaller lakes to the north and northwest help create our mild winter climate, comparable to that of coastal areas like Hobe Sound.

Lake Okeechobee is world-renowned for its bass fishing and attracts anglers from all over the country. Hunting opportunities also abound throughout the surrounding region, and wildlife watchers can enjoy countless native birds and animals in their natural habitats. From Buckhead Ridge, you can step right onto the dike trail and follow it north toward the Indian Prairie Canal, about 10 miles away, where there is parking and a convenient pickup point by car. Along the way, enjoy wide-open views, fresh air, and uninterrupted stretches of Florida’s outdoors.

Okeechobee is also known for its Cattle Country charm, with a vibrant livestock market holding sales on Mondays and Tuesdays. For those looking for a day trip, Palm Beach is only about an hour and a half away.

For RV guests, we offer FHU with both 30-amp and 50-amp hook-ups to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay with direct access to Rim Canal and the S-127 lock. We also offer fully furnished trailer rentals.

Guests can enjoy amenities including dockage upon request, a convenient boat launch ramp, a fish cleaning station, a heated swimming pool, and coin laundry facilities. These features are designed to enhance your stay and make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
